It is an external tool, which means that the merchant does not have to be integrated with PayGate. It can be used with any other integrator (or without such) as well.

Three case scenarios

SaveDesk can be used by any merchant regardless of whether they have an integrator and if that integrator is Rainbow Riders. The three cases are:

Rainbow Riders as an integrator

In this case there are no complications as Rainbow Riders has access to all the data and is the only one to update it.

No integrator

In this case the merchant is their own integrator.

Technically there are no issues with Rainbow Riders becoming a second integrator here, as long as Rainbow Riders does not need to receive callbacks (which can be sent to only one integrator), which in the case of SaveDesk is ok.

Merchant will authorize Rainbow Riders as an integrator and Rainbow Riders will:

Fetch all existing agreements
Update the agreements with a cancel redirect URL (i.e. SaveDesk URL)
Update an agreement when the subscriber takes an action on the SaveDesk landing page

3rd party integrator

In this case the merchant already has another 3rd party integrator.
